We said the prize details for Cork Open Fall 2026 were coming, and here they are. The final event of the season at Neptune Stadium on Sunday 22 November has €1,800 worth of Ground Game vouchers on the line across the Gi open weight divisions.
The Prize Breakdown
Every open weight winner takes home a Ground Game voucher to spend in their online store. Vouchers are handed out on the day of the competition, so you walk away with it there and then.
Adult Male:
- 🥋 Blue Belt Open Weight: €200 voucher
- 🥋 Purple Belt Open Weight: €300 voucher
- 🥋 Brown/Black Belt Open Weight: €300 voucher
Adult Female:
- 🥋 Blue/Purple Belt Open Weight: €200 voucher
- 🥋 Brown/Black Belt Open Weight: €300 voucher
Juvenile:
- 🥋 Male Blue/Purple Belt Open Weight: €150 voucher
- 🥋 Female Blue/Purple Belt Open Weight: €150 voucher
Bonus:
- 🥋 Winner of the biggest white belt division: €200 voucher
A Bonus for White Belts
We do not run open weight divisions for white belts, so instead of leaving them out we are putting a €200 voucher on the biggest white belt Gi division of the day, across juvenile, adult and masters. Whoever wins the division with the most entries takes it. It worked well earlier in the year and it is back again for the last event of the season.
Masters Are Welcome Too
If you compete in a Masters division, you can still go for the adult open weight prizes. Register for your Masters category as normal, then sign up separately for the Adult Open Weight. You do not need to enter the regular adult division to do it.
How to Enter the Open Weight
Open weight is available to anyone registered in a regular weight division, and entering it is completely free. Registration is online only through Smoothcomp, and there are no sign-ups on the day, so add yourself to the open weight while you are registering. If you have already entered a weight division, you can go back in and add the open weight at no extra cost.

Get Registered
There is a solid training block between now and 22 November, which is plenty of time to prepare properly for a run at the open weight. Registration closes at midnight on 15 November, and the entry price goes up as the event gets closer, so the sooner you sign up the less you pay. Enter both Gi and No-Gi and you get 25% off the two together.
